Lately I’ve been asked by quite few people if there would ever be a Drakaina statue (you know these 1/6 action figures like statues, not the stone ones
) and I am starting to seriously toy with the idea in my mind…
So at fist I wanted to create a small poll to see if there would even be a market for it, but then it turned into a 3 minutes (top) survey asking you about various aspects of Drakaina.com as well as already available and future merchandising .
So I would really really appreciate if you took 3 minutes of your time to anwser this very short survey!!

Here are snapshots of some of the selected artists for my upcoming art book “Drakaina: Masters” (version Francaise ci dessous) . Of course these are just small previews and you will have to wait for the books to hit the shelves before discovering the full artworks. I am still in the process of uploading all the artworks but I thought I’d show you a few to start with

Drakaina by Didier Normand
From now on, and until “Drakaina: Masters” is released, I will show you a new artwork per week, to give you a (small sized, you’ll have to wait for the artbook to view high resolutions) preview of the artworks that will be featured in this new volume.

To celebrate the release of my second artbook “Drakaina, a Fantasy art Muse” by SQP, we are hosting a launch/release party on May22 nd 2009 downtown Halifax.
This will be the art book’s debut in Canada, so I am pretty excited about it.
Since the artists won’t be able to attend (because I live so far away on this little Canada island that is Nova Scotia
) I will be exposing prints of their works in the art gallery where we are having the party.
There will also be a draw for a gift basket at the end of the night, and the lucky winner will receive both artbooks signed, as well as surprise gifts from my sponsors.
