Drakaina 35lbs lighter
Wow I wasn’t really trying and I lost 35 pounds since the end of the winter.. Ariock and people around me kept telling me I was losing weight and I was like yeah I am losing a little weight… But I didn’t realized how much it showed until I tried on a pair of dress pants from last winter (I wore them till I don’t … February/march 2009 )..
No wonder none of my clothes are fitting me anymore and that I have to go back and get new ones almost every month… I went from a size 10 (12 on bad days) to a size 5… I guess it didn’t show to much because I am so tall but yeah I did have a bit of weight to shed I guess lol lol
The thing is… now I have to start toning my body because, although I became smaller all around, I am not satisfied with the way my body looks as of today (for photo shoots I mean, because for my every day life, this bod suits me just fine 
) Those of you who know me personally know that working out is not my forte: I don’t have that much “free” time as it is and I’d rather spend it with Beltane than at the gym.. Read More…

You know what, I’ve come to realise that planning this launch party is a little (read much) like planning a wedding… Almost like a rehearsal for the big date (which is by the way unikely to happen in a near future as Ariock isn’t pro wedding hahaha)
First find a place where to hold the party… Something big enough that people won’t feel crowded yet not too big so that it won’t look all empty either… After looking around I decided on the Aperture Studios, first because I had a very good vibe from the place last time I had a shot there and also because the event being the release of an art book from a model it was very fitting. Left by the roadside as a puppy, Mari, portrayed in the film by a Shiba Inu (like my baby), is taken in by a family which recently has lost its mother to illness. A year later she herself has three puppies, just in time for a major earthquake which strikes the mountain village where she lives. Although valiant herself in trying to rescue the family‘s grandfather, there is no choice but to leave her behind in the evacuation of all the village‘s inhabitants.
The film follows her adventures as well as those of the two children to whom she belongs during two long and arduous weeks of separation.

On January 15th 09 our websites were hacked, our emails went down and even our webhost were disabled for a couple of days…
To make a long story short I had to change host and since they dropped all my db dumps I lost all the content and comments from the previous versions of this website… Needless to say I was pissed to be forced to start from scratch again but… as Ariock always says everything happens for a reason and this hacker gave me the kick in the butt I needed to give you the brand new 2009 Drakaina website!!! Drakaina is not dead, far from it and I have a lot of exciting stuff to show you this year
