I’ve never planned on becoming a Muse.. that is not the kind of thing you decide to become overnight… It kind of fell upon me from one day to the next… True I’ve always been a great fan of comic books and fantasy art.. But it was more my secret garden than anything else…It all started back in 2001 when my path crossed Ariock’s and his dark fantasy .. He was giving me the opportunity to give life to his creations… From paper to Flesh…
And that idea was more than attractive to me… It was like a calling.. And from that moment on, my life was turned upside down. Then, came the emails from other artists, as they too wanted to use me as their model..
It all went very fast ..Drakaina.. her universe.. became a whole entity to which artists started carving a unique …
They didn’t want me to be only their model anymore, they were looking at me as a Muse … The time of Drakaina the fantasy art Model was long gone, it was now the Era of Drakaina the Muse.. Inspiring painters,drawers, poets and writers, as well as several models in my native France, where Fantasy art Modeling was finally recognized as a true form of artistic expression
Ariock, Lorenzo, Mike, Fabrizio, Popeye, Will, Christophe,Matt and all the others.. I’ve lived with every single one of them a very beautiful story, made of complicity and passion, a true friendship story that still goes on today way further that the artworks I have had the honor to inspire them…
Being your Muse, if even for just a moment was so fulfilling…
This is why I really wanted to thank you, first for all of your master pieces but even more so to offer me the best of all gifts : the opportunity to rediscover myself over and over again through the eyes of someone .. And that to me, that’s priceless!!

ABOUT MY NAME
About my name, Drakaina™, it means she dragon in Greek (as well as Daughter of the Devil) and it came up while Ariock and I were talking about Echidna : he mentionned that she was a “Drakaina”, and I instantly knew that it would be my name…When I heard that name shivers ran through my spine, as if my body reacted to the calling of this word and I knew there could be no other names possible for me…This is part of why I decided to preserve it’s uniqueness by regitering it as my trademark : that was it , there could and will only be one Model and Muse for artists named Drakaina®
BUT WHAT IS A FANTASY ART MUSE ANYWAYS?
(Francais ci dessous)Completely new in France, at least when Drakaina decided to follow that path back in 2001, this discipline, (which consist in stunning babes posing for artists in various styles such as Fantasy art, Comic, Pin-up and even soft Erotica) is more widespread in the United States, where the artists do not hesitate to call upon these specialized models whom, by giving life to their imaginary visions, sometimes become, just as Julie Stain and Stacy E Walker (uncontested queens of the Fantasy art Models Made in USA) real celebrities with their own fans communities and more…
Today France (even though she relocated to Canada in 2006) can count on it’s very own Fantasy art Model in the person of Drakaina®, known as the first Fantasy art Model from France, whom , in the beginning of 2001 enrolled in the path to success, becoming a reference on the matter for these universally known artists.
