35 pounds later…

Wow I wasn’t really trying and I lost 35 pounds since the end of the winter.. Ariock and people around me kept telling me I was losing weight and I was like yeah I am losing a little weight… But I didn’t realized how much it showed until I tried on a pair of dress pants from last winter (I wore them till I don’t … February/march 2009 )..
No wonder none of my clothes are fitting me anymore and that I have to go back and get new ones almost every month… I went from a size 10 (12 on bad days) to a size 5… I guess it didn’t show to much because I am so tall but yeah I did have a bit of weight to shed I guess lol lol
The thing is… now I have to start toning my body because, although I became smaller all around, I am not satisfied with the way my body looks as of today (for photo shoots I mean, because for my every day life, this bod suits me just fine
) Those of you who know me personally know that working out is not my forte: I don’t have that much “free” time as it is and I’d rather spend it with Beltane than at the gym..
So I need accountability.. and that’s where you come into play… Starting today I will post a daily pic of myself (unedited) to show progresses I make in the toning department (thigh masters here I come lol )..
I have 2 photo shoots I need to be ready for by the end of October, so that doesn’t give me a lot of time to mess around and be lazy… I already know it’s not my diet that I need to change, as I eat pretty healthy as it is, I also walk quite a bit with Beltane, but I need to step it up and start doing…arg… crunches (I never liked those and it is now starting to show..)
So yeah, if I can fool myself into thinking I look alright, I know I won’t be able to fool you hahaha… Thus why I will post pics everyday, and be accountable to someone else than myself (I found the idea on a website where people do exactly that every day, post their weight loss/body toning progresses and on this website it said that it does help them to stay in track when they know that people won’t go easy on them if they fail (as in failing yourself)
So here is day one, October 3rd 2009:

October 24th 09:
I was in the middle of my weekly cleaning (you can still see the laundry basket on the floor behind me lol), when I realized that with me being sick and worked to death, I totally forgot to take my weekly picture, to show my progress in the toning department…
So I dropped everything I was doing, set up my camera (I’ll have to show you one day, to make it stand on it’s own I make a tower of whatever I have handy.. today was a cd on top of a mug on top of the ashtray lol it’s ridiculous haha) and took a couple of self portrait..
Little did I know that sir Ariock would join in and goof around in the background… I told him, buddy this one is going on facebook.. that will teach you to make fun of me…
So here is Ariock (who, somehow, just by being around, totally f***ed up my setting btw), showing off his sexiest modeling pose:
